BY 2023 Airport traffic to grow by 5.3X. China to replace US as No#1 while India to Replace UK and Jump 3 from the current 7th as well as Indonesia to Jump 4th from the current 10th To replace Spain. To cater to the rising air traffic India currently with 105 airports would increase the number of airports to 200 by 2040. Indigo and Spice are two listed companies, while we are going to see an IPO of GOAir from the oldest group, ie. Wadia group soon. Good growth, but the Majority of the companies with high debt burdens and low margins.
Post COVID-19: Airline is the industry is highly affected and sales were down by 60% as this industry opened last and that also with limited cities. We may see Recovery till next year v/s many industries started recovering this year itself.
